Job Description
new—land is an award-winning Scandinavian production company based in Stockholm, Copenhagen and London. We represent a diverse roster of directors and photographers, working across commercials, music videos, branded content, documentaries and film.
We’re looking for a creative and visually driven communicator to lead our social media and PR. You’ll be responsible for shaping how New Land presents itself to the world — visually, tonally, and strategically — across all platforms and channels. With experience in editorial and/or social media, you’ll help to craft strategies that resonate, alongside a clear understanding of the commercial production landscape. And most importantly, someone with a love for filmmaking.
This is a full time position based in our London office.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Deep understanding of social media and PR within creative industries.
- Knowledge of the cultural landscape of the commercial film industry, and how the industry uses social media as a tool.
- Confident, self-driven, and able to work independently with a clear creative vision.
- Strong design skills, and ability to design bespoke social media assets. Comfortable with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Editorial experience and/or strong writing skills
- Experience within a similar role at a production company, brand or ad agency is useful but not essential.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan, design, and execute content for new—land’s social media
- Create visual and written materials (press releases, project launches, announcements, and internal updates).
- Ensure New Land’s tone and visual identity are consistent across all channels.
- Collaborate with producers, directors, and EPs to communicate ongoing projects in a clear and engaging way.
- Website management, ensuring the site is up to date with recent releases, films, and more.
- Generate and execute creative ideas for posts on the Culture Section of the website, collaborating with our directors and writing interesting articles about recent projects, films, documentaries, as well as company news.
- Writing press releases and generating industry-facing press opportunities for new work and signings. Going beyond this to seek additional opportunities around new releases and talent.
- Designing, writing and strategising new—land’s newsletter
