Job Description
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail orientated Junior Graphic Designer to join our team at Wyse London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen eye for design, a love of fashion, and a flair for bringing assets to life across channels. You’llbe a sefl starter, who loves creating engaging visual assets, supporting campaigns, and collaborating to deliver beautiful, on-brand content. LOCATION: Shepherd's Bush, London. The role will be office based Monday - Thursday, with Fridays work from home.
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
START DATE: ASAP
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Create assets for the website (regular refreshes of homepage and content blocks) supporting product launches, promotions and campaigns.
- Create business as usual emails and update imagery in automated flow emails. Using templated designs, but with possibility to propose new layouts and ideas.
- Adapt imagery and video to different paid social formats and ratios. Adding text to assets and explore opportunities for animation and new layouts.
- Own the workflow of the image management process. Responsible for communication between the external studio / retouch team, and the internal Wyse teams, ensuring retouch comments are communicated and all imagery in saved and shared.
- Create store and sample sale signage and window vinyls.
- Update imagery in internal and external decks / presentations.
- Work under the guidance of the marketing team and support the freelance creative team on larger projects, while taking ownership of smaller briefs.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- One to two years proven experience in graphic design, with strong layout skills. A portfolio is a must have.
- An eye for fashion trends and a strong interest in fashion retail.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Basic animation / motion skills (After Effects)
- Familiarity with Figma and Canva preferred.
- Strong and clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in communicating with external and internal partners, across levels of the business.
- High attentive to detail and organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple briefs.
- Proactive and enthusiastic.
- Enthusiasm for the latest design trends, with an awareness for what is fresh, but relevant to the target audience.
- A positive, can-do attitude
