Job Description

Young Artists creates environments that nurture artists and builds them long term careers. Young Artists are seeking a confident and creative Content Creator to help shape and share the story of our artists online.

You should be an experienced photographer and videographer, able to translate narratives into compelling short form visual content that fits the aesthetic of our roster.

You are able to make the artists you are filming feel comfortable, shooting them in a natural and un-intrusive way. You have a refined eye for visual storytelling, a strong sense of tone and timing, and an aesthetic that aligns with our roster.

You should be fluent in all social media channels, especially Tik Tok, deeply tapped into internet culture and instinctively responsive to emerging trends and moments. This role is built around your ability to build a visual world for our artists that feels real, fresh, and emotionally resonant with their fans.

You will also be experienced in simple post-production, able to execute photo and video edits, adding text or graphics which are aligned with the platform they’re being posted on.

What you'll do:

• Lead day-to-day content creation across all platforms — including copywriting which clearly communicates in our artists’ voice.

• Act as the main point of contact for artist approval on all content and copy

• Collaborate closely with our artists and their teams across management, label, touring partners, merchandise company and brand partners

• Capture real moments — studio sessions, tour life, and behind-the-scenes content that brings fans closer to the band.

• Commission and coordinate freelance creatives when required.

• React in real time to fan conversations, cultural moments, and viral opportunities with authenticity and creative flair.

• Ensure consistency across all content — maintaining brand tone, visual style, and quality control across every post.

About you:

• You’re creative, self-directed, and calm under pressure.

• You know how to speak internet — memes, trends, formats — and filter it through a unique artistic lens.

• You care about storytelling and know how to make things feel both elevated and emotionally real.

• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and you’re comfortable working closely with artists and their teams.

• You can generate and enthusiastically present new ideas even if they aren’t approved.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with digital marketing and music campaigns.

• A track record of building engaged communities around artists or cultural projects.

• Previous experience managing artist or brand accounts in fast-paced, trend-sensitive environments.
